The House of Representatives is scheduled to consider the Training and Research for Autism Improvement Nationwide Act (TRAIN, HR 5756) tomorrow, Wednesday September 22.
The TRAIN Act creates training initiatives and authorizes grants to the national network of University Centers for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities to provide interdisciplinary training, continuing education, technical assistance, and information in order to improve services to children and adults with Autism and other developmental disabilities and their families, as well as to address the existing unmet needs related to individuals on the Autism spectrum.
